Today on ADG Fashion and Wedding Style, it is my first blog post! I am so excited to start this adventure with all of you. I thought what better way to start a relationship than getting to know someone?
I am a southern girl born and raised, although I have lived in various places including Manhattan and South Florida, I have found that it is indeed true what Dorothy said in The Wizard of Oz, “there’s no place like home.” I recently moved back to the gorgeous state of North Carolina to start my company ADG Fashion and Wedding Stylist.
I have always loved all things fashion, I remember skipping right over Seventeen magazine and going right for Vogue as a little girl. I spent most of my afternoons changing my Barbie’s outfits and picking out my own clothes to wear to school.
When I was living in South Florida I got to start working a job I had always dreamed I would have as a stylist assistant. In my time at that job I got to work all over Florida as well as in Los Angeles; on national ad campaigns for X- Factor and E! News as well as editorials for various fashion magazines.
I am so excited to branch out on my own and start my business. I have recently found what I believe to be my passion and niche in the fashion world and that is the bridal field. After having my own dream wedding, I realized how much I loved all of the fashion involved in having a wedding. I started helping friends find their perfect wedding dress, accessorizing every detail and helping them on their wedding day.
I hope you all enjoy and I am so excited to travel this journey with each of you!
